Who processes your data

This website belongs to RPM Forged B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42178224. We are the controller for the data that reaches us through this site.

What we process, and why

The contact form

When you fill in the form we ask for your name, email address, phone number, your car, the finish you have in mind and your message. We use that for one purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing a quote. Name and email are required, the rest is up to you.

The submission is not stored in this website. It is forwarded by email straight away and after that it lives only in our mailbox.

Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically records technical data for every visit: IP address, time, the page requested and the type of browser. This keeps the site running, helps us solve faults and guards against abuse.

Our legal basis

• Contact form: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in being able to answer questions.
• Server logs: our legitimate interest in a working and secure website.

How long we keep it

• Correspondence about an enquiry that does not lead to an order: two years at most after the last contact.
• Correspondence belonging to an order: for as long as the statutory seven year retention period for business records applies.
• Server logs: thirty days at most.

Who we share data with

We do not sell anything on and we do not use your data for advertising. We do work with parties we need in order to operate:

• our hosting provider, which runs the website and the email;
• the party that sends our email;
• Atelier West, which handles enquiries on our behalf.

We have data processing agreements with these parties. They may use your data only for the task we give them.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no visitor statistics or advertising networks. Only technical cookies needed to make the site work are used. Those require no consent, which is why you see no cookie banner.

Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to your data, to correct or erase it, to restrict processing, and to transfer your data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@rpm-forged.com. We respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle that, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

The website runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to the administration is limited to the people who need it.

Changes

If the way we process data changes, we update this statement. The date at the top says when that last happened.
